I saw a person wearing full silver armour as that of a knight with a red cross marked on the section of the armour that was covering the forehead.
The knight seemed to be riding something which I got an impression of it being a bicycle. It was on a stretch of plains. The place seemed to be familiar to me. So I strained to look around. In the distant back drop were ranges of mountains.
Suddenly the knight seemed to be gaining momentum and galloping which I then felt was the knight now on a horse.
I had seen this vision a few days ago and felt burdened to share it now. Many of God’s children have come through hard times.. trying to scale one mountain after the other. In doing so they have learnt to put on the full armour of God. They have gone through the once upon a time familiar territory of obstacles and struggles.
I was curious to know what the red cross of a knight symbolised and searched the internet. Pardon my ignorance here! Apparently it is symbolic of the sacrifice of Christ. These children of God have had to sacrifice much but they were willingly bearing the cross in obedience to God.
They became steady on the plains and suddenly gained momentum with God speed. They are now equipped to stand their ground when the day of evil comes, to stand firm with all the armour in place. They are covered by the blood of Christ shed on the cross bearing the cross of Christ.
Meditate on this passage:
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God – Ephesians 6:10-17
