God showed me a GLASS in response to a situation that I was in, and I realise now I had been trying to act prematurely.
He asked me who in their right minds throws away a glass in fear of it going to break even when it’s totally intact? We don’t chuck a glass into the garbage until it cracks or breaks or shatters.. That fear that it may break doesn’t stop us from using it! Instead we handle it with care, not carelessly.
God is asking us to value what we do have on hand – especially friendships and relationships. He is calling us to TREASURE what He has blessed us with, and treat fragile things with care just like we do with a glass.
We don’t fear of what will or may happen.. but we take things one day at a time. As long as we have those gentle blessings in our hands, we treat it with much care and tenderness.
May we treat one another like we do the way we handle a glass.. remember we are all FRAGILE vessels in our own ways, work in progress,…
We remember that Scripture speaks of Jesus:
A bruised reed He will not break,
and a smoldering wick He will not snuff out,
Let’s IDENTIFY, APPRECIATE and TREAT as treasures the blessings that He has given us.
May we be known as His disciples through our love for one another… and remember that it’s His love that works in us and through us fragile vessels, and perfect love casts out fear!
